Kent motorcycles were produced by T.J. Richards and Sons in Adelaide. The Kent was entirely designed and manufactured in Australia, with even the castings done locally. The machine featured a 500cc OHV engine and was known for its performance, covering the flying half-mile at 69.8 miles per hour in 1913. The Kent was a side-car mount of sterling qualities, winning several competitions.
