Am I correct in assuming that there is no kill switch on the T500? My T500J lacks one and the wiring diagrams I have looked at show no kill switch in the ignition circuit and one is not apparent from the parts book. Due to the inconvenient position of the keyed ignition switch below the tank on the frame, this seems a little dangerous. I assume that the GT series in '72 had kill switches. Has anyone retrofitted such a switch somewhere on the handlebars? I have never had the need to use the kill switch on any of my other bikes but it is comforting to know the switch is there.
