{"id":992,"date":"2023-04-13T05:50:59","date_gmt":"2023-04-13T05:50:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ozebook.com\/comune\/?p=992"},"modified":"2023-04-13T05:50:59","modified_gmt":"2023-04-13T05:50:59","slug":"sam-petersons-t500","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ozebook.com\/comune\/2023\/04\/13\/sam-petersons-t500\/","title":{"rendered":"Sam Peterson&#8217;s T500"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: small;\">&#8220;I bought it in about 98 and it was a complete basket case.\u00a0 I think it had been around Australia 5 times, the electrics had caught fire and then it was left out in the weather for a couple of years before I bought it.\u00a0 The parts were either very worn, crispy black or rusty brown &#8211; often all three.\u00a0 But it was a T500 and\u00a0 a MkIII at that so I just had to have it!\u00a0 I was lucky enough to make contact with someone who was restoring a Cobra and who had to move house.\u00a0 After a little haggling, I got his spares (more or less a whole machine &#8211; thanks Andrew!) which saved the day.
