T500 vs GT500 Posted by Phil C - UK on 6/14/2001, 3:06 pm 195.92.168.169 Can someone tell me what the main differences are between the GT500 motor and the T500. I am familiar with barrel differences but what about crank etc. A guy has offered me a nice GT500 motor that I am thinking of fitting in place of my tired T500 lump. I want to fit my ported T500 barrels and new pistons(GT750 inner and outer) to the GT 500 engine . Are the mounts the same?
