The timing on the bike is set at 26 degrees, where a stock T250 is set at 24 degrees. Is this a reasonable setting? Also, is there an easy way to convert degrees to mm measurements on a dial gauge? Yes I am a complete moron, so please excuse the basic questions.
I have been afraid that the flat spot was caused by the pipe design. I will see if I can fit the old pipes back on the bike. The mounts were hacked apart to accommodate the new pipes, but I'll have to see what I can come up with tonight and tomorrow. The old pipes scared me how much they limit cornering clearance, so I'll try to pull them up a bit more but that seems like an unlikely possibility.
