GT380 Engine question Posted by Triple Ed on 6/11/2001, 9:00 am 205.188.197.189 I am about to rebuild one of my 380 engines, it is a 72. The engine will be going on a 74 frame. Can I use the new style head & ram air shroud on a 72 engine? I prefer the new style because it is smooth(easy to polish compared to the old style that had fins) & it has a lower profile. I want to use the 72 cylinders with the seperate carbs. Does anybody know if the head is interchangable?
