I'm not sure if this crosses over, but on the Kaw triples it helps immensly in stopping missed shifts to actually hold the shifter in the full up or full down position till after your on/off the gas. Under cutting the gears is highly recommended. And I talked with Kevin Cameron, and he said (at least on the kaw triples) that Hypoid oil (compatable with wet clutches) is the best thing you can use for transmission fluid. My 2 cents worth.
