What do you guy's think about running dellorto carbs on a T500

I've had little sucess out of them on my husqvarna's and cagiva's but everybody else swears by them and rarely switch to mikuni's.I'd like to have a set of mikuni's but I'll try any thing else that's cheap at the time.I was going to try bing's but they're way too expensive.($245.00 per) I have a set of 34mm dellortos on the way.Has anybody tried anything other than mikuni's.
