I recently purchased a fuel tank from dealer inventory to restore one of my GT380s. It was marked "GT380-NEW". It is red in color, very similar to 380M. The stripe on it is gold with a black outline, (looks just like a 74 550) however I have only seen this stripe on a green tank(550L). As far as I can tell, the 380 & 550 tanks are the same,(it also fit my friends 550) Do you have any idea what this tank is??? Did the 74 550 ever come in red???
