Sounds like the carbs still need more work. It appears by your description that the right cylinder was running intermittently or not at all - hence the mix spewing out the exhaust. Carb kits should fix this problem. These small tuning problems will be a process of elimination, but it sounds like you've already done all the major work. Good luck!
