I'm here you old wombat chaser. I split my crank last friday and polished the pieces today. The thing's been redone before and whoever trued it used a steel hammer(lots of little dents in the flywheels). Now if I could only find some rods for cheap(the small ends are rust pitted). I tried bidding on a set of used chambers on Ebay but they went for twice the $95 I decided was my limit. We're getting close to spring,I'll have to take friday off and get out real early to get a last bit of skiing in(the temp. is supposed to hit the 40s the end of this week). Soon it'll be time to resurrect the bikes from their winter nap. I'm hoping to do some high performance lightening of my rider(ME)by starting to use my bicycle again after about 5-6 years off. Maybe we can start some kind of intercontinental weight loss contest for all of us FOBs. Gotta go the cats are threatening to take matters into their own paws if I don't feed'em. OLO,Guzzi John
