Another thought came to me this morning. You may have your idle stop screws turned in a tad too much as well. This is what might be preventing you from getting enough fuel through the enrichening circuit ("choke") on startup. These ARE Mikunis we are talking about here, aren't we ?? Or their Taiwanese equivalents which are, I believe, called "TK" ???
