My T500 has the date of 11/74 on the steering stem with serial # 81000. Is this unusual? Please tell me it is the first bike of this model year so I can start the bidding! LOL... Also, what years did they switch from the 3-into-1 metal (grey) throttle cable splitter to the plastic ones? I went to fit all this together and found the carb sets I had are also different, 1 set being much taller than the other. What gives? Did these carbs change that much?
