The tradition of ANZAC Day goes back a long way......here for example is how ANZAC Day was celbrated in London for returning Australian toops in 1919. The entertainment was at the Holborn Empire Theatre London. The programme shows that the Australian Prime Minister Billy Hughes, Minister for the Australian Navy Sir Joseph Banks & the Hon G.F. Pearce Minister for Defence were in attendance and addressed the troops.
