PANNONIA MOTORCYCLES The Pannonia was produced under a range of names in Hungary during the height of the Cold War. The Pannonia was built by the State-owned company "Csepel" which also built Danuvia, Tunde and Panni motorcycles. Pannonia motorcycles were built between 1951 and 1975. Initially two-stroke singles were built but in the end a range of practical two-stroke 250cc twins were produced. In 1971 Pannonia ventured westards to the Bol d'or endurance race. Two pannonias placed 4th and 5th in the event!
